While you are enjoying this wonderful place, you can enjoy a fun and relaxing cooking lesson with Paola Lovisetti Scamihorn, a medical researcher and passionate cook. Paola offers informal lessons on authentic, and traditional Italian cuisine but with a modern twist - Mediterranean diet, history, culture and language. Cooking is Paola's passion, passed on to her by her mother and grandmother, the result of generations of family tradition. The course will be taught in English, using both metric and imperial measurements. The idea of the lesson is to give you the flavor of true Italian lifestyle and culture through food, an experience for all your senses. It will be held in a cozy environment, so you can truly understand the Italian culture and passion for food.
The lesson will include three recipes using fresh seasonal ingredients bought at the local market (including fresh pasta, risotto and etc.) and will last about 3 hrs. During the lesson Paola will you teach you how to put together a healthy and tasty Italian menu and some basic rules of etiquette when it comes to an Italian table - When in Rome, do as the Romans do! You will start with a welcoming glass of prosecco, just to set the atmosphere. After the lesson you can enjoy the prepared food with a glass of wine.
